This game is a good thing, but with some problems in the beginning nobody knew how to compress 1300 MBytes (Equivalent to 2 CDs) in some of 512 MBits. The first sight it seems impossible, but the Capcom, along with the unknown Angel Studios, has just done. And the most amazing of all is that even were able to add a number of new features and implementations that further enrich the title, making it perfect for a Re-Make.
With much better textured characters, graphics, high resolution (possible with the help of expander MegaRAM of 4), animation and sound completely fluent Surround, Resident Evil 2 64 already showed their power in the demo presented during E3 and TGS. The gameplay has become more dynamic since the Load Times among scenarios were completely cut - despite the animation of the opening of the doors still be present, to give an air of suspense and to continue the tradition of the series. Even the controls have been implemented, with a much better response of the analog control of the console, in addition to compatibility with the Rumble Pak. Most of the sounds outside recreated, becoming cleaner and if encaixando perfectly to Surround Sound.
Amazingly, the mini games with Hunk and Tofu are also present. In addition to the new graphics, Capcom added new files that are in the entire game. Files are documents that tell a little more about the history of Resident Evil, with details on the plot of games released. As for the items, now they are scattered at random by local, if changing with each new game - the system of Item randomizer. |
