To show the potential of the new videogame, Nintendo launched the game that would be marked as being the first truly 3D game: Super Mario 64, the star italian most famous of the universe. Sales alavancaram so that everyone who had any interest to test the new concept of 3D platform, which has a quality big even for the current games.
More games were launched, but those who stood out were the most made by Nintendo itself and Rare, because unfortunately the Third Partyes had no confidence with the system adopted by the media n64, the cartridge memory ROM, in contrast with the CD-ROms used by competitors.
Fortunately despite the problems, most of the titles released for n64 has been enhanced by a high accuracy approval by the seal of quality, although it is clear from a few exceptions (read up Superman hehehe).

And coupled with that tight seal, the n64 was a real factory of classics, including being responsible for the game considered number one in the world: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. |
